FENG CHA is looking for a hardworking Trainer to join our fun, fast-casual cafe. Our Trainers are our Brand Ambassadors. As such, they must always demonstrate and uphold Feng Cha culture. As a Feng Cha Trainer, you will be responsible for training franchise owners, managers, and team members in their respective roles so they can provide every guest with an outstanding experience. This person will learn all brand standards, follow them, and inspire others to do the same. Our training department seeks to improve its methods and materials continuously; feedback will be essential in achieving this goal.
Essential Responsibilities
Training
Conduct initial training for owners and/or managers at either our corporate office or franchisee’s store
Conduct manager and team member training for store openings
Establish open lines of communication with franchise owners and their managers and be able to provide performance feedback on training participants
Coach employees and identify areas of improvement
Schedule training and delivery of training materials
Operation & Research
Take initiative in creating, leading, and encouraging efficiency through new or refined procedures
Define training needs and develop standardized training for owners, management teams, and employees of a new and existing franchise
Assist in new recipe creation and operation improvement
General Responsibilities:
Conduct field training programs that include calibration and remediation of existing restaurants
Complete assigned new store openings, and follow-up visits to ensure operation complied with company guidelines and sale goals
Support implementation/roll-out of new products and procedures in conjunction with the Marketing Department
Ensure that franchising stores maintain product quality, customer service, cleanliness & maintenance, training & staffing, and branding standards
Learn and enforce all recipes, kitchen procedures, and policies
Inspect stores routinely to ensure franchisee compliance and quality control
Communicate with franchisees and store managers on operation and training issues
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong attention to detail
Demonstrated collaborative skills and open to feedback
Ability to adapt flexibly to work schedule and travel for work
Fluency in English is required
Must be able to travel up to 40% of the time
Food Manager Certification (Preferred)
Physical/Personal Demands
Exert up to 55 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise, move objects
Must be able to stand for long periods and exert well-paced mobility, including bending and stooping, for the duration of the workday
Must be able to work and perform all duties at any station in the kitchen or service area
Must be able to fly without restrictions or issue
